This Kit 169 is adapted from a Kit which appeared in the 12/2002 issue
of EPE magazine. I replaced all the BC337's and associated resistors by a ULN2803A IC.

Here is the text file which came with the download from EPE.

Set the fuse to XT when you program. No other flags set.

EPE Magazine December 2002

Enhance your Christmas decorations -- or brighten your
childrens' bedroom ceiling -- with this versatile PIC-
powered flasher display.

Creates a number of different effects and powers up to eight channels
of l.e.d.s, or external miniature low voltage bulbs. Can be added to
almost any Christmas decoration, or make your own design. Safe
low voltage operation from e.g. a mains adaptor.

Parts are available from the usual component sources. Please note
that EPE does not provide kits but many of the requirements can
be met by our advertisers.
